Hi all, anyone out there use this combination. Try as I do, I cant get the list of waypoints off the zumo unit, actually I have the same routes listed several times on the zumo, this is a pain and also must use up memory.

Ive deleted them in Roadtrip and Basecamp with the unit connected but still they remain on the unit?

Any words of wisdom?

And what is the difference between Basecamp and Roadtrip anyway?

Not familiar with the system so I cannot help much really.

I would guess basecamp refers to Mac/pc and roadtrip tranferring/ syncronising to the Garmin.

This might help but not refer to your particular Zumo model.

You can delete them one at a time on the unit. Select "Where to" then select a favorite you want to delete then select "edit" and the second page of the edit screen allows you to delete. Other wise, if you'd rather operate on a PC, download all your routes, tracks and favorites to your computer and do a "cold start". To cold start, press the lower right hand section of the screen while you power on. It will delete all user data but you just downloaded your data to your PC so you can modify/delete whatever you want in Mapsource on your PC which is much easier. When you have the data the way you want it, upload it to your unit and you should be where you want to be.

There is a Zumo forum,  http://www.zumoforums.com/ and would guess the answer you seek is there.

Cheers FBF, I tried the cold start thing already but it didn’t delete the user information, I’ll get on the zumo forum see what I can find. Sometime I doubt whether factory reconditioned stuff works as it should, but I don’t want to change the subject, unlike longdude and his onions.
